In Olympia, WA (zip is 98502). Other dealerships have offered 850 for the trade in on my car, but $500 is supposedly all Subaru will offer. In terms of the Outback, according to the salesman, he has it priced out “a little over invoice.” The configuration is a premium with popular package 1 and package 15. I personally feel this is a little steep for a lease and am not sure what I should be asking for.
Have you reached out to other area dealers? I would check with Puyallup, Eastside, and Carter.
Also, it sounds like you’re car is in rough shape. So whatever the dealer is offering is a gift and coming off their new car discount. Consider selling it privately.
You can deal with that separately, see what Carmax/Carvana/Vroom will give you for it.
Eastside has sent me some good offers. Nothing Hanson will match though. Issue is driving out that far.
It is what it is - you can’t force them to match the deal. If you want to save the $$, you may need to travel.
