Is this a good deal for 2017 BMW X3?

Hello,

Here’s what I was offered for a 2017 BMW X3 sDrive28i with Nav & Driver’s Assistance Pkg.

MSRP: $43,145
Selling Price: $40,246
RV: 64% (10k miles)
Monthly Payment: $476.48 ($893 due at signing)

This is in Austin, TX.

Apparently this was a “Special Edition X3’s” that the dealer purchased from BMW NA, and BMW has full tax credit & additional cash incentives. This is pretty significant since I live in Texas where we have to pay sales tax on the full sale price of the car even on a lease.

Is this a good deal?

Thanks.

In a word, no. That sales price is about $3000 high. Between easy incentives discussed elsewhere on this forum, you’re leaving too much on the table.

I think you can do better . Earlier this month I was quoted 525 Inc tax for a loaded x3 3.5 with xdrive . Sticker was around 56k . The dealer was giving 12 percent off.

Also the lease was 12k/36 mo

As everyone said it is not a good deals. The way I look at most BMW deals is if the car is 50K and you pay $500 plus minus $20-30 for 10K/36 months inclusive of taxes you got a deal.

Has anyone been able to get a better deal in Texas? If so, who did you talk to?
