Is this a good deal? 17 Jeep

Hello, first lease so appreciate any guidance. 2017 Jeep Compass (Latitude) demo with almost 3000 miles.

Msrp. 28,860
Discounted price 19,860
MF. .00225
res. .53%
10k / 24
$296 month including taxes
$2000 due at signing (first and MV fees)

The dealer says he can try to convince the manager to get less than $2000 at signing and that he needs to run my credit to be able to give me a lower rate, I told him my credit was 700+ but he insists in running my credit. I’ve seen other dealers give estimates based on 700+ so I don’t know why they insist.

Considering that someone else recently posted a brand new 2018 Compass trailhawk for about 290 a month with first month due at signing, I’d say that’s not a deal that I’d waste a credit pull on.

$2000 seems high for first and fees. Did they provide a breakdown for you? Tell them to quote you based on 700+ without running credit or look elsewhere. Really dumb for them to not be able to do that. Agree with ElectricEliminator, don’t let them run your credit for this deal.

That’s as awful deal based on what I saw last month. Compass Limiteds we’re in the 200’s last month.

Thank you!

What about this (other dealer): $1000 drive off $330 w/ tax for 24months, new 2018 latitude 4x4. I am driving now but I think msrp is aprox $29k

Still doesn’t seem right. Just checked Honcker and a limited is leasing at $305, $1655 due at signing.

run…

haha

Yeah but that Honcker deal is with a 36m lease, I am doing 24m. They say the 24m is throwing away the incentives they can give me … idk
