I came across this lease swap and want to know what your thinking it’s a little over what I would like to spend but is a really sick car can I get a 2016 for about this price or even 17 what do you think i might be able to negotiate ? Let me know thanks
I was just reading on here someone got one for around 350 a month as a demo. I would love to get something like that but I understand I would have to pay more because I need 15k per year and they only had 10. also I am in ny so I would be willing to get it out of state in order to use multiple security deposits and save some money. Can anyone recommend somewhere near me I might be able to get a steal on a demo, I would like xdrive heated seats cold weather premium and tech can I get something like this under 450 a month?
I am very interested in that can you give me some tips how I might be able to negotiate that I would take that at that price if I could get 15k per year is that possible?
Go for a test drive, tell them you saw that ad and that you’d be interested if they could do it on a 15k/yr lease. Or email and ask how many miles it’s for (almost certainly 10k) and then ask if they’d be able to do that price for 15k.
Be aware that you’re looking at 4-5k due at signing for the MSDs and all of the fees and taxes.
The one I posted in the lease swap had about another 7 grand in options shouldn’t that be worth more it has premium m sport and cold weather not to mention red leather which are all things I would like to have the 399 deal doesn’t include any of them. There not exactly near me so I feel like I would want to make sure deal is settled before I went out there
Ok I will I’m not really liking the color options available. Any links to nice c300 4matic in my budget range where I can get a good price with msds? I found one at dealer in ny running 477 a month they wanted a total 5k down including taxs doc cap cost etc… 15k/36 pretty loaded with an msrp of 54 feel like I can do better though
Thanks
My mantra (which is oft ridiculed) is that over 400 for a 3 series is criminal lol. I guess some people either don’t like me or they pay 500 for their 3 series. In terms of leasing, I find that BMW is more competitive than MB.
I also think the advertised 279 a month for 330e is worth looking into Now that is a deal that makes you look like a criminal since if you can nego that payment with little money down, you would be stealing it.
So vhooloo, I’m thinking of getting this 330e deal. It really seems like a good deal. I’m new to leasing and read the FAQ as well as tried to use the calculator but some of the terms used in the calc don’t exactly match up with the BMW website. Either way, I think I entered things right and monthly payment should be just under 400 so for $279, it seems like a great deal.
What are your thoughts? I read how you don’t want to put a down payment but security deposit instead. If I can reduce this $3000 down to like $1000 security deposit, I would like to get this deal but not sure I can expect that to happen?
First of all take my advice with a grain of salt since most people think that my statement 3 series under 400 is insane.
I think the key to the 330e deal is to actually find one first (not many out there) and see if dealer has already discounted it by 10-15% off the bat. Then go an do the test drive. I am sure they will still present you with their worksheet that says 3 to 4k down and 379 a month (just FYI, 2 months ago the 330e deal was 339 a month on the BMW website).
Then you tell them you want 279 a month with 1k down. They will say you are crazy but then you can pull out the ad and any other incentives you qualify for. Once they agree to 279 a month, then you say MSD and this should bring payment down a further 20-30 bucks. If you pull this off, then congratulations, as Michael Jackson would say, you are a smooth criminal. and you can do moonwalk in front of the dealer. BUt make no mistake, I think it will be hard but doable.
Thanks! Appreciate that advice. The dealership right by me does happen to have 1, but I agree, this may be extremely difficult. Especially since the 279/mo is based on MSRP of 44k where as the 1 this dealer has for sale shows MSRP of 58k! That’s a big difference.
I’m one of the TDI owners and looking for a replacement so I’m not in a rush (unless an amazing deal comes by), so I’ll test drive it today, see my options and if I can’t negotiate a deal under $279 with $1k down, I’ll just walk away…
