I have BMW ix m60 which I put down max MSDs. How do that come back? Also NY state tax is included in payment, how does that work?

If you transfer it the person you transfer it to would pay you the MSD’s at transfer & they would receive them back from BMWFS when they turn the vehicle in at the end of the lease.

When you registered in NY the taxes were due upfront to the state, I am not aware of a mechanism that allows you to get them back.

In addition I believe the person you transfer it to would also be responsible for the taxes on the remaining payments at transfer. Someone will be along shortly to correct me if I’m wrong on this last part.

That’s all sunk now. You can’t get any back and the next person pays tax on top of whatever the payment is.
