Is the Genesis GV70 seemingly unhackable? (Updated w/ Deal Check)

Yeah I’m doing everything I can to get a decent deal but either they’re too new or there’s no rush to sell them. They’re barely giving me a good deal on a 2025. $2k down $880 a month for an advanced 2025 model.

Does this seem to be the case throughout the country? I might have to start looking elsewhere or just buy another car. First time getting into a genesis seems too high.

No, that’s horrendous. There’s brokers in here with way better deals than that

That’s awful.

Without negotiation I had my dealer offering me a better deal on a 25 Advance.

Yeah but this is a Prestige I’m talking about they’re usually less likely to offer deals on Prestige’s. So yes your price monthly is less because you have a cheaper trim if that’s what you mean by you got a better deal?

If it’s a prestige then you shouldn’t have said advanced.

When did I ever say advanced? Also I was talking to Andre not you.

You replied to my post about the programs in the Advance trim.

PS: Kindness goes a long way in a place where people are trying to help you free of cost.

Trust me I know it does yet sadly all I got was read the post. My question was about a completely different trim. I was trying not to create a new thread and all I got was “read the thread”. So yeah thanks for all the help.

Well you got me there lol I didn’t even remember mentioning the advance so you’re right my mistake.

Received a new quote on a 2026 Select and was curious if anyone can give me a check here:

Thats a lot of money due at signing…
If we change that to 0 DAS
Your payment is 714 month on a 53k msrp vehicle.
Incentives are listed as ZERO? is this accurate?

it’s just taxes/fees/inceptions due at signing. I don’t qualify for loyalty or conquest so I have to just shoot for MSRP discount on this. since it’s only the first month of the 2026MY, figured 7% is a higher discount than i’ve seen on all brokers spreadsheets here

Ahh this is the ice model…got it ..no incentives

Yeah sorry about that. Probably shoulda called that out in the post. That being said, I don’t know if I can “do” much better than that since it’s the ICE model and very early into the model year.

Understand it’s hard to give a “hey this is/isn’t a good deal” but getting closer to the frustration point of where I’m at my end of my lease hunt. All I know is this is better than any spreadsheet deal I’ve seen on here. Not sure whether that makes it good or just relative good

Not sure that means anything. Don’t think many sellers here even attempt to post any good deals on unhackable cars. They’ll facilitate the deal for someone willing to pay an irrational amount, obviously. But there’s no volume in chasing that kinda rare buyer.

Yeah definitely. That’s why I hedged and said I don’t know if it means it’s actually good or just relative good.

You’re pretty well versed in this. What say you here on this one? It’s tough because I’ve looked at it from so many different ways

Personally my decision tree is pretty simple.

If a car I really want is hackable I’ll lease it. That’s obviously the best case scenario. Otherwise

A. If I like the car enough I’ll buy it.

B. If I don’t I’ll find something else that’s hackable and I’ll lease that.

Just a weird range I’m trying to get in. My Jeep won’t get me conquest at these “luxury” class SUVs and EVs don’t work for my situation.

The GLC is more “hackable” based on what I’ve seen but it’s relative bc it’s hackable but higher than my budget. X3 is even higher out of that budget. Not sure what else is sitting in that class
