hello, i am using leasehackr calculator and kinda got confused with “taxed and untaxed incentive”.
can someone briefly explain it and let me know if NYC falls into which category? thanks in adanvce!

in NY, state will tax you on the incentives that your neighbor would receives as well

Yes most incentives are taxed. If you roll your tax into your monthly payment, the tax is taxed again.
really?! so if theres a lot of incentive, i am better off paying taxes upfront ?
