Is it a good idea to lease a 2023 BMW now?

Depends on your pay plan but someone with a nice fat book of business and continuing plan to expand said book of business could negotiate a very generous pay plan as well as the budget for a few assistants to help with the volume.

Some things are more important than money and I sleep better at night providing a service for a fair price rather than squeezing folks for every dollar.

For real, someone needs to help get some Volvo deals out here in California.

The best i’ve ever seen is 30% front and 15% back.

A broker gets 100% of any profit.

There is a reason some of the very best salespeople go become brokers.

Depends on the model.

@derekoh1991 maybe you should have became a broker instead of going to retail at a dealership.

I thought about it at one point

Originally, which seems to be removed, he said it was for an X3. There is no new iDrive in the X3’s, they’re still on ID7

I had thought we were talking about an 23 X5 so… yeah. :person_shrugging:

Idk what’s going on here, OP said X5, then edited to X3, then removed all mention of a model from the OP

This is true for all the usual NYC/LI/NJ based retail brokerages which I’m sure are the people you’ve had the most experience with, but not of most of the ones here, myself included. I don’t make a penny more if I sell for invoice or 2k below, we make our fee and that’s it.

The discussion has devolved into industry compensation plans, and therefore has run its course.
