Iām going to commit this to memory.
I can confirm this happened to a family member of mine last year. And the other issue is that as stock goes down, dealers start to limit discounts as wellā¦
I tried last year to hold out for Decemberās deals for BMW and if memory serves me correct October had the best money factor with November and December being the same.
I guess it could also depend on the market as last year cars were hard to come by but in current shooting to finalize a deal by Saturday . Right now warning seeing is very few 24 model years available with bad options or bare bones equipment. Again it is dependent on your locale and what brand. For example Fords and some other brands have tons of 24s so waiting till the buzzer in December might work but it really depends on car, market and local/state wide inventory. Best of luck!
Are Black Friday deals a real thing?
Hi guys
Anyone knows about new December numbers, specifically mercedez EV and BMW EV?
Thanks
Tomorrow for most, but looks like Merc didnāt change if you look at the brokers
I think the bottom isnāt in yet. The auto industry is just now reaching a point where they realize inventory might become an issue. That and the repo/auction market is going to start crowding and undermining new sales because of the growing non-payments issue for consumer debt.
Iād say the longer you wait, the better the deals will become overall (market correction incoming). But that doesnāt necessarily mean they will be the deals on the cars you want.
this is jumping the gun a little bit but I am going on vacation until the end of the year and then some. are deals on the model rolling out ('24 in this case) usually better in jan or do people just not care?
There are deals on something (actually some-things) every month.
2024s are no longer being manufactured, so inventory by definition can only go down. How flexible are you on make / model / trim / color / options?
There will still be deals on '24s in January on whateverās left.
So far Kia, Hyundai , Merc and BMW appear to be the same as Nov
im trying to grab a bigger car, kind of a all - in - one full size suv that the wife can drive to work but also fit stuff for home, we just moved to FL and i am constantly hauling stuff. i wanted a truck for the hauling part but im leaning now towards a yukon/pilot/wagooner or something of the sort
not picky and we brought our '23 macan here (though not much fits into it at all its basically a sedan) so have a little time to wait for the right deal
You should be able to at least crudely gauge inventory levels on remaining '24s by searching and filtering on manufacturer web sites for your target models.
Consider a XC90/CX70/SantaFe and having delivered any home improvement wares larger than fits inside of those.
When it comes to SUVs, itās a HUGE payment jump from a midsize unibody to a full size BOF
I think the XC90 is sick for the price, but the infotainment seriously bothers me. It marks itself as an 80k car but the screen looks like someone mashed an old ipad into a console.
Totally agree on the pricing differential:
Iāve narrowed it down to 2 categories, one is the 400-500/mo range (Pilot, new Santa Fe, CX70, maybe EV9?) and one is the 800/mo range (Yukon/Wagoneer/Hummer EV3?)
Not wanting anything too luxurious because I am positive Iāll ding it up lol. Going to wait for the right deal and take it from there.
F-150 lightning
100% agree with you, but need to find FL dealers willing to work on that. They donāt budge in Tampa area (I am even in a group chat at this point with people shopping for them from reddit lol)
What Yukon are you getting for $800/mo?
