Sadly those days for over, hopefully temporarily. Now you’re looking at almost double for that pair.
In the absence of a well-priced two car solution maybe the Acura ZDX type S is a good one car solution?

I feel like the performance and driving characteristics of the Macan 4 EV and i5n are not in the same wheelhouse. Not the one is better than the other, they just have different goals.
Once you decide what your goals are, the choice will be easy.
I’d add the SQ8 E-tron to your list if you can find one. Shorter legs than the SQ6 and dated tech, but I leased one a few weeks ago (at the end of Costco) for $630 effective with NorCal taxes. It’s not as juvenile (in a good way) as an Ioniq 5 N, but it’s actually quite a lot of fun and would I think check your boxes fairly well. There are probably still a few around. Efficiency and range both blow though…
So - when I went to look at a MacanEV at a local dealer I ended up also testing a Taycan 4S. Fell in love. And then I saw the price. Ouch. But it also presents what seems like a true 1 car solution. Sporty and kinda fits 3 teens and a wife. Although how many times have I said that to then be searching for sports car down the road. Test drove the Lucid Air over the weekend - which while they had a Gravity they aren’t giving test drives for whatever reason. The Air seems like a good in-between of the BMW i5 and Taycan - and at a monthly price that seems to have a lot of value. Not a fan of the looks, but the different colors do help. So maybe my need not ‘hot hatch EV’ but sporty GT-ish car. Couple of YouTubers have suggested the Gravity is near Porsche Cayenne level capable… with a 4+ month wait I gather. I can’t imagine buying a car you’ve never test driven let alone never seen other then on a website from a company that has never made a SUV…
Re the Taycan, I think you’re kidding yourself (perhaps unless your family is short). We had an E-tron GT and with the front seat in my driving position the back seat legroom was tight for my young kids. OK I’m 6’4, but three teens plus your wife? Seems like wishful thinking. If not the E-tron leases far better than the Taycan for a very similar experience- no wagon unfortunately.
Re the Air: glitchy, quite a few complaints re servicing, etc on the forums, but otherwise a great driving experience and value, more real world space than the Taycan sedan.
Re the Cayenne vs Gravity- the reviewers are wrong, the Gravity is far more capable than the Cayenne. Expect the Gravity to set the SUV lap record at the ‘ring in a few months, and it’s a true 7 seater with near as much space as an Escalade. But the early lease/ finance deals are terrible, they can’t seem to get a handle on production and the Air has had major bugs they were not able to squash for years.
Full disclosure I have a deposit down on a Gravity, which I was hoping would replace my E-tron GT. When it became clear the Gravity was not going to be available at a competitive price any time soon I got a two year lease on the SQ8 as a stopgap to let Lucid ramp production and get the bugs out.
I put a deposit down on a Lucid Air Touring and just wrapped up a 3-day extended test drive, logging about 200 miles. It’s a great car in many ways, but a few things are holding me back — mainly the seating position and noticeable front motor whine, along with a handful of smaller quirks.
I am currently trying to hack a deal on a used Taycan which seems like a Turbo S could be something.
