Is there any consumer software or mobile app to track dealer inventory? Specifically, is there anyway to tell how long a certain VIN has been on a dealer lot? I guess one could just make a spreadsheet and copy and paste VINs you are interested in when you see them in an inventory but that doesn’t make it easier when you pop onto a lot and find a vehicle there you are interested in. Any way to find out?

Looking through the pictures can offer clues sometimes, such as snow on the ground in the summer or a date on the infotainment screen.
Cars.com shows how long the listing has been on their site too. The old fashioned way is check the VIN plate on the door for manufacture date if you are in its physical presence. Gives you an idea too.
