Balloon worked out well on my 2023 M4 Comp xDrive. Kept the payment below a lease cost and when I went to sell it, the M4/M3 depreciation isn’t bad, so it saved me a couple hundred a month or so vs leasing. I didnt keep it full term it was just a strategic way of paying the least per month for the car.
It’s a great use case on one of these cars where there is such little depreciation.
No restrictions to getting out early (purchasing or selling to third party ?)
Nada. I actually traded it in as I saved on the tax. 0 issues with BMWFS

It’s basically just like a regular loan, you can sell it anytime, to anyone, at payoff, and get a tax credit in most cases.
I know rates are individualized but I wish there was a public range they could share? Assuming its gonna be more than traditional financing?
Im familiar with afg per zolt’s previous posts. Sorry if im spamming here !
Nope, generally speaking, same as the promo rates and rebates even
You can do a 36-60/mo balloon on an X7 at 1.99 right now
How about on an M5 Touring? (If you are a gambling man, and you believe it will depreciate less than the residual indicates)
Ty!
Let me get out of this damn 4xe lease in 20 months lmao
Wouldn’t really be beneficial because the rate and residual are basically the same on a balloon as they are on a lease for that car.
Is it directly through BMWFinancial?
Yes, it is.
It’s highly-dependent on the dealership location, as I found out recently - FYI.
