Hey everyone. I have worked with a few brokers in the past and enjoy spending time on this site just looking at cars and the numbers. I currently have a full time job where my average coworkers income is above 6 figures. Cars are a passion of mine and I wanted to take it to the next level. How to be a broker

Not entirely sure if this is the place to post this BUT, I’ve recently been considering becoming an auto broker but not entirely sure how to go about it. I live in New York so do you need a license to be a broker? Also does anyone on here have tips on becoming a new broker? Any feedback is much appreciated.
