Illinois ally buyout for jeep questions

My wife and i leased a 2020 wrangler from Ally in june 2020, however we both got a 4XE early on when the deals were really hot early in 2021.

We havent driven it almost at all since for obvious reasons and were planning to trade it in on any other type of car that we would use but it being ally we have not been able to find a dealer that would take it on trade in.

Are there any dealers or brokers that are able to successfully navigate an ally trade in for a new lease?
Or am i just stuck with a spare jeep for another 18 months

You always have the option of buying out the lease and then selling to whomever you want. Unfortunately, Ally jacks up the residual value on their leases which kills a lot of the equity in doing that.

Yes you have to buy it, hopefully since you are in IL you don’t have to pay any more Sales tax?
