Meh I’m not a fan. I only like expensive cars that I can get a good deal on or used Toyotas and Hondas. But I agree it is a very odd situation. I honestly was thinking about pressing them to get them to co-sign. Was my deal good enough for that? It was a 24 month 640 a month 5k das. I think msrp was 111k but selling price was 71k.
Haha I mean you aren’t wrong but I was gonna use this to treat myself and it would help with taxes.
Amg eqs?
Yeah EQS AMG. Great car but has it’s small issues.
Can you make it make farting noises a la Elon?
Then buy a used one. No one will be able to tell.
You can buy a low mileage CPO AMG EQS for about 70.
I don’t want to own one. They depreciate so much plus the other big thing for me was getting 2 years of free charging at electrify America. I also don’t want to install a charger at the house.
Why is the focus on the garbage that is the EQS?..Is it just inflated-MSRP sticker chasing?
Maybe take a look at the e-tron? Audi has this college program which I think helps qualify for young people with an empty credit history (no experience with it): Audi Financial Services | Explore offers & special programs | Audi USA
VwFS is worse than MBFS and BMWFS. I got declined on a $900 note but bmw approved me for $1700 note lol.
I’m getting the “young entrepreneur” vibe from OP, I wouldn’t necessarily assume college here, but I could be wrong.
Get a loaner GLC, not electric and quite a few deals to be had on leasing with amex. Check your local dealers inventory.
Interesting, was just trying to think of relevant “promos”.
Correct i didn’t go to college. I was looking at them and they aren’t bad but the 250 mile range isn’t the best. I like all the driver assistance features though.
Amex promo is $500 off right?
Likely correct. Regardless, to each his own, but if I had some dough to blow to “treat myself” at 23, a jelly-bean, EV would not be my top choice.
Yea it is an odd choice but I don’t really like driving much I want a car that can drive itself. I hate really fast cars because they are so small and I’m a tall dude.
Check Benzornothing’s excel sheet on how he is pricing loaner glc to get an idea. Fleet is $3000. Get the dealer to do a deep discount 18%+ and apply fleet. You should do okay.
Self driving - you need a gm car with supercruise, pretty great on highway not much availability on city streets.
Equinox, Blazer or Lyriq with supercruise should work for you. Lots of excellent deals to be had, no clue about GM’s ice cars.
…so just get a Tesla Model Y…or a Lyriq…
GL finding a used Toyota/Honda that isn’t overpriced (or a lemon).
