Looks like the Nissan Frontier high residual value carries onto 2023! Just finished reading the whole thread that started in Jan. 2022. If you are looking for a short-term low payment car this is it! After calculations, the payments should satisfy mostly everyone, including the prof hackers.
All the usual rules of leasing apply: Contact dealers with no add-ons or mark ups. Negotiate on greatest discount off MSRP with buy rate.
Option 1:
Capitalize all the fees & taxes into DAS to obtain lower monthly payment… After 18 months you can extend the lease with the low monthly payment. (Most Nissan dealers may not give discount or have bumped mf)
Option 2:
If you have the cash to swing it then do the one-pay + msd. You will get the msd back and will significantly lower your overall monthly payment. (Most Nissan dealers do not know how to do this)
If you find a good dealer that is willing to play ball then the payments on this truck is like recession proof!
