I am looking for advice from someone who had a recent experience with windshield repair.
After talking to Safeglass, I am not so sure if they can fix it.
This is 4 months old car with a 24-month lease.
Also, if we need to replace it i need to check if NOT OEM glass will be accepted at the time of the lease return.
Should i buy an easy fix for $15 or find a professional shop to fix the chip?

The diy fix is fine on such a small crack. The spider webs are the ones were you get into issues.
If you’re going to attempt to fix then do it ASAP
You don’t want to take any chance that it spreads and enlarges

I’ve fixed at least 5-6 chips like that using the Rain-X kit on Amazon. $12 or so. If done correctly it leaves a central dot that won’t spread and will make the lines practically invisible at least from most angles.
Agree fix it asap. I keep a kit in my garage at all times so a chip can be fixed when I get home.

If you have a portable uv light can be done in the garage as well. If not, before sunrise apply the resin/glue then let the sun do the rest.
If you are feeling fancy apply localized heat from the inside to help the resin better penetrate the crack better but for the average jack/jill not needed.
