I’m new to this site and fairly addicted to it…leased a chevy equinox 3/17 and am curious how the board feels I did
Equinox FWD
MSRP 27945
Agreed value 25802.28
Cap cost reduction 8514.01
This includes 6200 rebates (3000 conquest, 1500 chevy select ccr, 1700 GM ccr) and 2403.01 cash at signing (includes 89$ first month)
Residual Value is 18443.70
Rent charge 1329.91
Taxes 628.02
Doc fee 498
Title, license, and reg 265.50
They gave me 570 to cover my final two payments on my Honda CRV
This is for a 24 month lease at 10k miles per year
I paid 2403.01 at signing and pay 89$ per month
I think the following are correct
RV is .66?
MF is 0.00147?
Anyway, leased before I started looking at this site so will not take offense at any criticism. Thinking I’d go with broker like @nyclife or @Benedetto next time I need to lease.
I’m reviewing all my papers and it’s all very confusing of course. It seems that the taxes, doc fee, liscense and registration, and Honda CR-V 570 are all rolled into my total gross cost and come out of cash at signing.
I then received 570 back from dealer.
So cash at signing is effectively 1833 and of that 1391 covered taxes, doc fee and lic/registration. Unless I’m wrong which I may be.
I didn’t use Costco cause I’m not a member and didn’t know anything about it at the time.
It’s true I didn’t totally understand ever part of the deal but to me it was 89$ per month with 2403 at signing. So my totally monthly was about 190$ and I was fine at that number.
Now that I’ve discovered this blog I’m sure I’ll do better with my next lease
It was when chevy was having Asian conquest of 3000…newspaper ad had equinox, traverse and Cruze all for 89$ per month. I didn’t really care which one I got as the low price was getting me to the dealer Paramus, NJ.
They didn’t have any of the advertised cars but were willing to do the equinox fairly close to the advertised price so I took it.
