I’ve been noticing a ton of used/demo Q6 e-trons floating around at non-Audi dealers (MB) — usually with 1,000–3,000 miles. My question is:
Can non-Audi dealers actually structure a lease with Audi Financial Services (AFS) using the advertised MF/RV? Or are these cars basically purchase-only once they’re out of the Audi network?
The discount looks attractive, but the MF is showing 10.08% APR. Either the poster structured it incorrectly, or dealers outside Audi just can’t offer AFS terms. Doesn’t make sense since you could get a new one at a better MF rate directly through an Audi dealer.
Has anyone here successfully leased one of these slightly used/demo Q6s from a non-Audi dealer? If so, what bank was used, and were the RV/MF competitive with Audi’s advertised programs?
Appreciate any insights before I waste time calling around.

No- Why would Audi provide lease support on a used unit that is not at an Audi dealer. There used to be leasing companies that would lease used vehicles- the rates/residuals were horrible. The best option would to use a credit union on a balloon loan with a residual value. There was a long post here that detailed this option and were to go to get it.
ok i guess this might work if used/demo car is with the same manufacturer dealer..eg. demo bmw with bmw dealer can do leass on demo, audi used/demo can be leased with audi dealer?
is this correct or still BS.
probably time wasting on chasing all those emails i’m getting with 30% off of MSRP
I think it will only work w/ same manufacturer/dealership, and I don’t think the car can be classified as “used” (retired loaner or demo might be more the language you are looking for) b/c it won’t qualify for new-car programs.
I think BMW, Cadillac, MB, and maybe Porsche have programs that are worthwhile. Audi did offer a very unusual (for Audi) program where they were subsidizing leases for previously titled cars, but Audi generally does not do so the way the other manufacturers listed above do.
Audi Financial Services can only be used at Audi dealers. AFS does allow leasing on “pre-owned” or “used” models, but they do not use AFS new car rates/incentives. They also have to be either a 24, 25 or 26 model at the time of this post. So you would have to check with the dealer to see what the numbers are. As others have said, it may make little to no sense going this route. However given you are targeting EVs, it’s possible that the numbers may have to be adjusted so they are not below the residual value otherwise it won’t fund. IE: sales price raised, months/miles adjusted, etc.
My understanding is that Audi demos or loaners do qualify for new rates/incentives but someone has to confirm that.
