Looking for Optiq Lux 1, or Lyriq lux 1, and wanted to see if I can get close to 12% discount (10% may work too) on these loaners. Most dealers are not willing to go over 6% to 8%, checked with most dealers within 50 miles. Do you think one can get over 10% off here?
Can one negotiate with out of state (neighboring state) and get it registered in CA without much hassle?
A lot of them are including regular 2k incentive and sometimes even other incentives in that discount and are not disclosing correctly.
yes. i am making an offer and most are not willing to accept. only few colors (most people may not like), or high priced options they are willing to go deeper discount. I might take one at 8% or so too, but 12% on a 55-56k car would be great to be under a good target monthly range. Is it because they don’t have that many loaners?
You can make your point without resorting to name-calling or swearing.
If you feel that you got such a good deal (which, based on your post history, was 2 months ago, when the market might’ve been quite different), then perhaps you’ll PM the OP the name of your dealer.
How does 13% total discount after 11% off MSRP equate to 2k loaner incentive. can you give more details? I have tried almost all dealers, 10%+ discount before this incentive is more work than normal, maybe because of the credit ending lot of them are busy.
looks like these are all gone now. This was an even better deal than adding the 2k loaner incentive. Maybe that’s why now it’s a little difficult to get one at that price range. Was a little late.
Over here in Texas, the best 3 offers I’ve gotten were 10.75%, 9.9%, and 7.3% discounts (prior to incentives) for the Cadillac Optiq Sport 1 / Lux 1. All were loaner cars. I think getting an 8-10% discount would be acceptable in my eyes, based on what I’ve seen the past month.
