How to get a Tesla FAST... And Most Other Reasonable Things Tesla

My psychological number is $80K for a red Model S LR. If I see a new one under thatā€¦ Iā€™m in.

I completely understand these things devalue like a muthaā€¦ but itā€™s a Model S.

I am waiting for the model x to hit 80k. I think it will happen before year end with the current downward trend.

Those cars really need a facelift on the outside. The designs really look dated now. Price cuts would help for sure but a refresh would do much more.
That said, the chance for Lucid going under just went up by a few percent I believe. Luxury sedan is such a small market that I believe they would be the ones feeling the effect of this change the most.

I have long range model Y (blue, black, 19) available for delivery this week but I changed my mind. If anyone wants to take over the reservation, message me.
Price is same as you see on the website. Only difference would be, youā€™d get one next week instead of waiting 3 months and avoid potential ev tax credit changes for deliveries past March
Iā€™m in northern CA, Sacramento area.

Did you get EQS fever? Itā€™s OK to admit it, we all have it!

Iā€™d rather just have the price cut and a signature Tesla look tbh.

Still waiting on my unicorn MX plaid with free supercharging. One of these days!!!

Including those who already have a MY that they bought pre price drop and way underwater. Dammit!

Hey, donā€™t exclude us M3 owners who bought in December eitherā€¦we also got a lil smoked toošŸ¤Ŗ

Model 3, underwater. No floaties.

Possibly People had arranged financing with California banks and that finding is now on hold?

This setup is getting pretty good reviews.
Not that bad a price, itā€™s basically cheaper then changing tires.

strongly considering picking up a M3RWD, Iā€™d be able to get the tax credit and take advantage of the low income CVRP rebate (7500). being that I would have to keep it 30months min in order to keep the entire rebate, Iā€™m not sure how much value the car would lose in 2.5yrs.

What do you guys think? would you do it?

The CVRP is $7,500 now?

Im not sure if the federal rebate as it is in this current iteration is refundable. So you might need to owe $7.5k in taxes to take full advantage. In whoch case you may not qualify for the CVRP.

Can you get the CVRP for a lease? This would solve the federal rebate problem as Tesla is building into the lease on the base model, and would also solve your depreciation worries.

If you do indeed qualify for the full federal rebate on a purchase and a full $7.5k of the CVRP, just buy it. Itā€™s a great value at $30k I wouldnt worry about what it will be worth.

It is not. Thereā€™s no minimum hold period on the fed credit.

yes for low income applicants. my dad qualifies, so heā€™d be the primary and Iā€™d be co-signing for him. separate households so my income wouldnā€™t affect his app, I confirmed with cvrp. and for the tax rebate, only one person can claim it so Iā€™d be taking that.

this is where my head is at. most likely will pull the trigger before EOM, waiting for a base model to show up in stock to snag it

So wait. You can get 7500 from the federal and 7500 from CVRP?
So the rear wheel drive would be 42990-7500-7500 = $27990.
That sounds very good.

CVRP website says the rebate is between 2000-7500. How do you know youā€™ll get the full 7500?
Why is Tesla M3 long-range not available to buy anymore?
Do both of these credits qualify for Tesla MY long-range as well?

Another question:
CVRP qualifies for both the lease as well as purchase. Which is currently a better decision to make?
