Nothing. In a weird situation because dealer didn’t want to do 68C until 78C remedy was available.
in the interim, I’ve hired a lemon law lawyer that has taken the case on contingency. We shall see.

Picked up my loaner today and they gave me a passed 4xe which I appreciated.
Said of the 40 they’ve done only 3 have failed. So that’s good.
2022 Sahara 4xe with 80,000 miles failed. Bricked at the dealer and is sitting in one of their service bays. Got a Grand Cherokee for this week but need to pick up a different loaner for next week due to mileage restrictions on their loaner program… No idea on how long to wait for the HV battery. STAR case has been opened.
Mine passed and is back, though range seems to be dramatically reduced. Went from 22-25 miles on a charge to under 15.
Mine passed as well, but haven’t charged it yet to see the range, I’ll keep an eye on it
Looks like Stellantis is throwing in the towel due to all of the hybrid issues. The one I ended up keeping for three years had no issues and I enjoyed it, but I know many others weren’t so lucky…
Have to figure these recalls are killing the bottom line. Aside from the windfall from flipping these I actually preferred the plug in version.
Now the one I return end of April waits in line for a new battery.
I also liked the plug-in variety, fun drive.
Also due to “customer demand shifting” which is code for customers aren’t going to pay extra for a 4xe if the government isn’t giving them the money.
It’s too bad, I had no issues with the 3 4xe’s I had and I would love another. But, like I said, I’m not willing to pay extra for it!
so given the recall on the 4xe (have a willy MY25)–is there nothing to be done besides wait? I cant charge it and have it parked outside always due to the Fire concern and yet still making my monthly payments
Anyone received the solution/download yet? Want to get rid of the car if I can’t charge it, i know i can’t lol
Mine passed the test and is fine. The fix was available weeks ago. My local big dealer said he’s only had to change 2 batteries since the fix became available.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I am in a smaller market, so will try to speak with the service department, thanks!
Anyone file a lemon lawsuit for their 4xe?
I had the “fix” made to my daughter’s ‘24 Sports S 4XE a few days back. I have to say, placing it in E-Save + Regen, power is being sent back to battery at a much faster rate. This wasn’t true prior to the recall update. Even in Hybrid + Regen, my daughter is saying that she does see a change in the battery level for the better. She has one more year on her lease.
Where did you have it done? I like quirk in Dorchester but it’s definitely not the closest dealer to me. Grava was absolutely terrible but it looks like they’ve been bought out by McGovern?
Sounds like “esave charge” got turned on rather than “esave hold”.
My daughter has Tonale plug in EAWD trim and this car charge the battery on a “sport” mode. I was kind of surprised when after long trip you can get fully charged baterry for 30 miles pure EV ride.
My 2023 JGC 4xe passed the recall battery test. But the v12 battery keeps draining. Had to take it back to dealership 3x now after the recall. They first thought it was a back windows module so replaced that. I’m in CA and considering a lemon lawsuit. Sadly, the 4xe is great when it works. Had a Jeep since 2015 and jumped on the 4xe craze in 2022. Now seems like the saga comes to an end.
I’m having the same issue but so far they can’t replicate it at the store. From what I can tell it’s draining the HV battery to keep the 12v alive.
How many times have you taken it to the dealer?
