HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 2)

1000 miles logged so far. I’ve only filled the tank once and used just over a quarter of the second tank. I charge it at home with the level one charger it came with, haven’t noticed an increase in my electric bill. Plug it in around town when I can. So far every chargepoint I’ve used has been free also so that’s nice. My daily routine is about 10 miles. Love my Rubicon. I’ve been averaging 26-28 miles on a full charge when I do deplete it. Most of the gas I’ve wasted, if I’m being honest, is from punching it to show off to my friends how fast it is :joy:

Is Clutch still offering refundable deposits? Debating placing an order for a 22 and selling this one when it arrives if the price is right.

Does anyone know how it works if you did a One Pay on your 4xe and then decide to sell the car? I apologize is this was asked before but I did a bunch of searching and couldn’t find it.

Your buyout price is essentially the RV minus any unearned rent charges.

Thanks. Thats what I figured, is there a way/place to find or calculate what the unearned rent charges are?

What are you getting for it from Autonation?

Total unearned rent should be roughly = remaining months * mf * RV * 2

Be sure to use the MF after the one pay reduction

How are taxes handled? I’ve read others say they’ve forfeited taxes. That’s the only part of the equation I haven’t figured out yet.

Taxes appear to be paid upfront, so they’re gone forever.

I would not recommend someone in a monthly tax state to do a one-pay if they’re intending to flip it within the first year or so.

What dealers are offering the best % off msrp for the ‘22 4xe? Any word on if there will be an affiliate discount any time soon?

There’s a handful of brokers here that are all in the mid 9% off msrp range.

There’s nothing suggesting affiliate is coming back anytime soon.

All I want for Christmas is for my 4xe to have all parts sourced.

On a side note: Has anyone used Tread Lightly for tire rebates?

Was thinking of signing up with them anyways since BFGoodrich and Discount Tire both offer rebates to Tread Lightly members. Can’t seem to find how much the rebate is though.

When did you order?

Same! Mine was in the “all parts have been received and waiting to be built” status but has since moved back to the waiting for parts one. Yay me.

Clutch has been great so far (we are ordering this week).
I didn’t reach out to Chapman to verify if Clutch is just the better deal, but he’s closer to us in Vegas so I won’t have to ship as far.

Fwiw - mine went from parts received to built to shipping in like a few days time. And the dealer knew it was shipping before I (or Jeep chat rather) knee

Do you need the tow package to tow a boat or trailer? Sorry for the noob questions. Thanks y’all.

Yes you would.
