I would use it on the one you’re holding longer. The lower adjusted cap cost would reduce your rent charge, which would never be realized on a flip.
With that said, we’re probably talking about a difference of $100 or so

Called CCAP today to ask about reason for denial and they said they’re showing that my credit app from Chapman was approved. Chapman insists CCAP has denied my credit app / won’t issue me credit, and insists on me submitting a co-signer.
Now I’m really confused…
Had a friend that had a similar experience with them, playing with the approval, co signer’s etc. Most likely you can consider the vehicle lost to their inventory lol
Said CCAP raised a red flag when my W2 didn’t align with my income… well yes, I changed jobs in November lol
Over $4.4k of rent charge. This is a thievery LOL unless this unit will be flipped at no time…
Just got back from a lunch time walk downtown. I can now say I regret not talking my friend into the SOT option. I saw about 3 of them in 2 mile walk. Wonder if I can convince her to reorder and flip the first one ![]()

I’m sitting at a ford dealership who offered the most to buy out my 4XE and they are telling me that a non jeep dealer CANNOT buy out a jeep lease… any truth to this?
They’re wrong
CCAP does allow 3rd party buyouts. They are likely mistaken or it could be that dealership’s policy.
Update: I had them call the local jeep dealer and CCAP. They are cutting me a check now
So how did you go about shopping it to your local dealers? Just curious.
Sold my Wrangler over a week ago and account still isn’t closed. Payment is due today, should I make payment and will I receive a refund for the full amount? Account also shows a payment received for full payoff I guess.
Edit: My payoff was $72,232 and equity check was cut using that number, but payoff received was only $71,948 which is 285 difference (basically the interest), are they leaving that hole for me to fill?
Good question on strategy here.
All the local dealers near me play the whole “come on in for an appraisal” when the window sticker and photos should suffice. A lot of leg work vs the online platforms.
In other words, one will need to force ICE to start in the morning for 10-15 mins to get the engine temperature to a min temp of 165 oF or so. Not very confident will own 4xe long term.
I got some online appraisals to get a baseline price and my best price at the time was 52k. I called about 15 local dealers total. In the beginning I just asked them for a number on it and I was just getting bids for it. When they said “come in for an appraisal”, I would tell them “I’m an hour away, it’s brand new, no damage, you can put a number on it”.
That tactic was only getting me 48-50k offers so for the last 5 dealers i told them I had a solid offer of 53k and if they wanted to buy it, they’d have to be at 53.5k. The last 2 dealers bit on it so I pit them against each other. One dealer came up another $500 the other stayed firm.
Got a check for $8,800 and a white Rubicon 4XE stuck in KZ at the moment. Very happy!
How long from vehicle landing at chapman did it take for you guys to receive the paperwork overnight? My rubicon landed 3/14 and the paperwork still hasn’t been sent out. I know they’re busy but wanted to see if this was normal or not
JC said mine has been there since 3/7 and I have not heard anything yet. I emailed for an update and they said it should arrive soon.
Nice! Was this for your 21 or 22 4xe? how many miles on it?
so jealous of those who don’t pay tax up front. Sounds like your fees were next to nothing, too.
Pay it
You’ll get reimbursed
Edit nvm
That’s on them
