Can I start the affiliate process today? Is it being accepted? Any dealer recommendations in south GA or north FL? You guys still think it is a great deal for now?
Try Dan Cummins it’s the one closest to you I believe
Yea I’m getting a nice offer, I will post when signed. I love the Jeep and want to keep it but yes, money talks and while I might get more later as spring comes and gas prices stay up, that might not happen. For my first time, with a CA deal/no shipping/no deposit/no broker, this crazy amount in equity is my trigger for the quick flip. If I really miss it afterwards, I can always keep the next order for longer (if it ever gets here), with less worry/less greed.
Did you change your Garage door color to match with Wrangler color.
Does anyone know if the $7500 is considered an untaxed incentive in the calculator, for the states that don’t normally tax customer cash rebates like Texas and few others?
I received a Jeep email for $2000 bonus cash on the next purchase/lease of a Jeep product since I had a 2019 JGC.
Should I use it on the 4xe I want to flip which I should probably be getting this month or the 4xe I want to keep which I will probably get in April/May?
For NY residents it was taxed
Read the fine print. Someone posted one a while back that didn’t apply to the 4xe.
They also don’t usually apply to leases.
I got this last time
Dealer said no at first
And a few days ago they called me saying it was approved and they mailed me a check
I bought the Jeep not leased
If capitalizing tax and fees is there a MF bump for 4xe ?
If you do a true sign and drive, there’s a .00029 bump on the 4xe for over 24 months, however, with the $7500 incentive being applied up front, it’d probably take a receptive dealer to work with you on making that happen, since they can easily structure $0 das with the $7500 covering upfronts
Meaning they would negate part of the credit with t&f and not give full credit?
Nah, you’d get the whole credit, it just would be applied to cover your drive offs (since they’d be capitalized) instead of doing an actual sign and drive, so you’d still be $0 das, but you wouldn’t get the first month’s payment incentive or the .00029 mf increase.
I don’t get it
If the T&F are baked into the vehicle then the $7500 comes of that fine, why wouldn’t I get MF a hike? I’m not looking to get one
here’s my Calc
I may be convoluting this a bit trying to answer what I think you’re trying to do rather than your actual question.
The MF hike only comes with a sign and drive. Doesn’t have anything specifically to do with capitalizing T&F. One could capitalize T&F and do a first month’s payment only DAS for example.
The MF hike is a trade off for having CCAP pay your first month’s payment. I assume you’re asking about capitalizing T&F because you want to do $0 DAS.
This is what my dealer did to cover fees taxes and reg and it avoided the bump. There was a first payment due at signing but deposit covered part of it.
On a 4xe, that probably makes the most sense. There isn’t nearly as much value in taking the MF bump and doing a sign and drive because the monthly payments are so low. When you start getting into TRX or 392 territory, that math changes, depending on how long you’re keeping the vehicle.
Now if get it .00029 hike= first month paid by CCAP. Sort of designed for flippers
but I’m keeping this so I guess I need to do first month DAS and capitalize everything I’d still pay .000144
I don’t know what you’re talking about…
To actually put some data to that, on my 392, the break even point for taking the MF mark up is 22 months, so basically if you keep it for no more than 2 years, it’s money ahead to take the sign and drive. That gives it value even if you’re not a short term flipper. I’m not planning on flipping immediately, but I doubt I’ll keep it anywhere near 2 years.
On a 4xe, that break even point is probably a lot sooner.
