I did the exact same thing when i knew nothing about jeeps. You can sell the soft top on ebay. The worst part was driving home with that huge box in jeep and you can’t recline the front seat.

My Tusco Rubi, ordered 11/15, has arrived at LC’s dealer in MD. While I wait for paperwork, I put a request into Shiply (based on comments on this forum) to ship to Ohio. So far I’m seeing ~$450-650.
Having never shipped a car before, is there any reason to NOT go with the cheapest bid? All the shippers are the same to me at this point, since I don’t know any better.
Check with his shipper too, his quote was actually better than most I received on both those sites.

Go with who’ll actually get the shipment picked up in the quickest time window. Unless it’s enclosed, I don’t think it really matters too much, and I doubt any shipper is going from MD to OH in an enclosed trailer for those prices.
EX: For $100 extra, I’d rather have the car 2-4 days sooner.
Can somebody help me out here? I’m brand new to EVs and I need a car (not urgently, just in the next 6 months or so)
Is the 4xe still one of the best lease deals in terms of building equity, taking the buyout, and flipping? I’m struggling to understand whether the $7500 govt rebate is baked into the lease payments or not. When I build a 4xe to the specs i want on the Jeep website, i always see lease payments around $520-530/mo.
If I don’t really use the charger is it still worth it? I ask because I may be moving into an apartment soon.
I’m located in the eastern PA area. I easily afford $500/mo. but I don’t want to “waste” the money either. I guess I haven’t really gleaned whether this hack for the 4xe is dependent on the crazy market conditions right now or not. I guess I’m asking if this is a relatively safe bet. I’m not particularly picky about the car i drive next. For example I’ve been looking into leasing a nissan frontier, a mazda CX5, and a mazda 3 hatch. Because the market is so crazy I’m really thinking financing to own is something I DO NOT want to do right now. Any help would be appreciated.

The 4xe is not efficient if you can’t plug it in. You’ll get a power benefit out of the powertrain, but don’t expect better than 20 mpg.

Can anyone give me a balllpark cost on putting a charger in my house? If i do move into an apartment can i get by on free charging? I have plenty where i live at malls and such.
Lastly do we have any idea how the deals/flipping prospects look for the grand cherokee 4xE? I like that model lot better looks wise but the wrangler is fine for me
Worse for GC, higher MSRP and lower residual. Not really a cult car like a wrangler.
Cost varies greatly by location, but probably 15-$2000 at least to get a charger installed. Depending on the length or if the circuit panel has extra space. If you are moving into an Apartment I wouldn’t bet on charging it unless you are at the supermarket.
GC 4xE likely won’t be a good flipping prospect.

so a jeep dealer is socal offered me $59k for a $63k built 2021 Rubi 4xe (leather, cold weather, tow and gorilla)… i think i can get over $60k for it… am i being greedy, should i just dump it? same build is currently $67k tho… first world problems.

if you think you can get over 60k for it then try, reach out to driveway, gmtv, carvana, etc and see if you can get over 60k. Go for the highest bidder

What did you do with the older one? How much profit, if you sold it?
I don’t know when these numbers come out. I thought end of prev month. Or, is it just on first day of month.
