How is this deal? I have to decide by tomorrow

I made a deal on a 2018 Nissan Rogue AWD SV with the premium package 36 months with 15k miles per year for $300 per month with $0 down $0 first payment, taxes and fees included into monthly payment. Should I do it?

MSRP: $30,110
Cap cost: $27,615
Acq fee: $595
Gross cap cost: $29,714.99
Cash cap reduction: $1775
Adjusted cap cost: $27,939.99
Fees: $222.50
Taxes: $971.77
Residual: 57% or $17,162.70

Well you’ve negotiated about a 6% discount on the cap cost (1775/29714). Not so bad but if you really grind em’ maybe you could get em’ down to 10-12%. That may take some effort getting there. This is what separates the true hackrs’ from mere mortals.

Are there any incentives included on this car. Edmunds and Autobytel can help in that regard.

What money factor (interest rate) are they using to compute your lease. Is that amount marked up over what the finance company or manufacturer requires ? You need to know this.

Are fees of $222 typical where you live. They seem kind of high to me.

They wrote it weird that’s not what I negotiated. The $1775 is the $1500 nissan rebate plus apparently theres a $200 rebate that is only applicable to the SV. I really have no clue how they calculated everything

Also I sold them my old car which is in pretty bad condition and I think I got a really good deal on that too. I sold them a 2009 nissan maxima sv with premium package 120k miles with 3 accidents on carfax, the whole car is scratched up and needs brakes and rotors replaced and possibly other things too that I am unaware of they gave me $5,500 for it

They gave you a check for it right?

They will unless I cancel the deal!

Also have you guys heard of rebates that only apply to certain trims? Because I saw one on the nissan website where it said $1500 bonus cash, but they didn’t give it to me because apparently it only applies to the S trim and for the SV trim they said I can only get $200 on top of the $1575, it doesn’t make much sense to me.

Nevermind they are right, it only applies to S trim.
