How far out do you start looking for a replacement lease?

Hi guys, my lease on the air is up in august, and i’ll be looking to get an EV to replace it. My top 2 choices are the Vistiq and EX90. I’ve been seeing some decent deals that other people have gotten on these cars recently, but I still got 3 months to go before this one expires and I’d rather not pay 2 leases at the same time for 3 months.

For those of you who typically lease, how far in advance do you start looking for a replacement? Do you wait till the last month but risk being against the clock or do you look 2 months out and risk possibly paying for 2 leases for 1-2 months

On this site, 45 days after leasing your last car.

Not sure what you drive now but Cadillac has a pull-ahead incentive up to 4 months on the VISTIQ (any current Cadillac lease).

Re to you title. Next day after physical delivery LOL

Some people start looking before the 1st deal is signed. Others start looking 3 years in advance.

When do you start @djrabbi ? LOL

I just got my devotee badge for being here daily x365 days, so…ya…lol

Once you start - you never stop.

I have a Lucid Air, would’ve been nice to get the pull ahead for the Vistiq

you guys sound like me when buying cars! I’ll browse cars for months/years and then when I finally buy it, I’ll be off for about 1-2 months then start looking again lol.

For those of you that start looking way early, what do you do with your current lease? Do you just try to transfer it to someone else?

Or do you just look for fun but actually practice discipline

Discipline? Never heard of her

The new car leads thread has been a good place to throw stuff that’s tempting me a bit too much but I know I shouldn’t sign.

I say 3-4 months before lease end is when I start looking. If you’re on a tight budget, then you can wait until the last month and hope incentives and deals line up.

If you’re open to the Lucid Gravity I think Lucid was offering Air leasers in their last 3 months to “transfer” to a Gravity. I would call and ask for details for their current policy. June may have some attractive incentives as well so all in all you may be able to secure solid discounts while ending your lease early without fees.

Good to know, will keep a lookout for any deals thanks.

Ioniq 9 leasing pretty well right now as well
