Hope I got a good deal! Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2018

Hope this adds to the conversation about 2018 Gc Limited lease deals … was just offered deal on similar car but with the luxury package but I don’t have a lot of experience negotiating leases…

MSRP: $46,380
“Selling Price”: $45,217
Tax: $347.24 (trading in a $16,000 cherokee latitude, 2016, 19,000 miles)
Total Capital Cost: $46,294.10
Rebates: -$3,250 (including -$1,000 conquest, Black Friday -$500, GLBC lease bonus cash -$500, and lease cash incentive -$1,250)
Net Lease: $43,044.10
MF: 0.00008
Term: 36 mo, 15,000 miles
Residual: $25,045.20 (53%)

Zero Down (just first month’s payment due), $505.52 / mo

Is this a good deal considering zero down or should I be in the 400’s? Should i wait until end of December for better deals? Let me know if you need more details… thanks in advance!

That selling price is hardly a 3% discount. Also are you trading a car with 16k equity as part of this? That would make this deal terrible. Sell the car on your own then get a 0 downpayment quote.

Thanks!

So removing the trade in as part of the deal, I believe that will cause the monthly price to jump to around $533 / mo since the tax savings would not be included… what would you say is target “selling price” and / or target monthly payment for a zero down lease so I know how to negotiate this?

I appreciate the help on this!

i saw one of the brokers on here post a similar Jeep for $279 a month with $600 down yesterday. so this deal seems awful compared to that. granted i’m sure yours has a few more options, but still

Yup, nyclife deal was way better

Let’s please make the distinction between Grand Cherokee and Cherokee.

Should definitely be in the 400s or lower.

Focus on target selling price of 10-15% off MSRP + rebates. The payment will then work out correspondingly. I don’t know the situation with taxes and trade in but that can be reviewed separately.

thank you! Yes this is for a Grand Cherokee… not the Cherokee. I will target 10-15% off before rebates. Thanks for your help! Two dealers have given me “bottom line” quotes of only 3-5% off MSRP which doesn’t seem great.

Hey guys!!!
The dealership is trying to get me to commit to some wear and tear coverage for an additional $15/month that covers $15000 worth of tire wear or breaks wear etc. He’s claiming I will have to pay even more than this additional cost at the end of my lease.

You guys know anything about this?

That’s BS. Most leases have some wear and tear allowance built in for regular wear.

Anything major like an accident you obviously have insurance for so not sure what the point of that is at all unless you’re someone who thinks you are going to like destroy your interior.

You said you are in NY. It only makes sense if you street park and get a lot of dings/scratches.

I’m in Long Island and park in my driveway. Private garage at work. So I’ll decline. Thanks guys.

I competed a Honcker deal for a base JGC limited, with MSRP of $43,880 in New Jersey. Transaction went smoothly and I had my car in two days.

36 month
10k miles
Due at signing $1,604
Monthly $370

Satisfied customer

Is this with taxes? If so, that’s a steal.

Haha. Man these guys are getting straight out more brazen in their lies.

That’s actually a fantastic deal on an altitude. 4x2 or 4x4? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one go that low.

Thanks its a 4x4 …yeah im happy with that number BUT lol i would hate to leave anything on the table this site has me looking for more lol

What was the MSRP of the vehicle?
