I’ve tried several Honda dealers in my area to try to get upfront lease pricing and my straightforward questions are ignored and all i get is monthly quotes. At one dealership, I did receive an upfront price, so I plugged it into the calculator that I’ve included. I’m willing to put down $1000 total due, but apparently
the price they quoted is “only for purchase”. Since I can’t get the “lease price” from the dealer I’m asking for some help.
The lease quote I’m getting is over $100 more per month than this calculator using the “purchase price”. I’ve never had this much difficulty getting numbers from dealers. Is this specific to Honda? This is the first time I’ve shopped for a Honda in awhile.
I would appreciate any help or feedback.
I would keep grinding dealers i couldn’t pay $343 for a 1.5.
Exactly! I thought that was my starting point. Getting nowhere.
Accords dont have amazing leases, I wouldn’t expect to get a dealer to deviate much from what you have on the calculator.
If you are in California I can help out
343 is insane, that’s close to m340xi money (May IK) but still.
The Accords (and other Honda models) are not well known for having fantastic deals. The unicorn Honda Accord deals that we have seen have been due to either qualifications for most to all of Honda’s rebates or a massive dealer discount.
I am not sure if you are stuck on a Honda or are interested in vehicles at the price point, but at that range a good deal Volvo or unicorn BMW is probably doable. For the Honda, I would negotiate with other dealers as well to get the best discount you can or just reach out to a broker.
