Did you just wake up from a 2 year nap? The market is not what it used to be, and hasn’t been for a while now. As a consumer, it sucks, but, there is a new reality that we need to get used to.
24 month leases would have to be worth a damn again for that to happen.
Those sub $200 BMW loaners were 4 years ago. If I recall them correctly they were only discounted 17%-18% and we are already at more discounts at this time on loaners but MF has gone up (Fed was at almost 0% then) and residuals are not inflated artificially anymore.
Those days are gone and not coming again unless BMW messes up in someway with overproduction which doesn’t look likely anymore.
Nope, I’ve been here the whole time and have watched the situation very closely. I’ve made a lot of money flipping cars the past few years.
I know the deals aren’t what they used to be, but I haven’t seen a 20% discount in years either. Seeing it on such a cheap MSRP BMW with what’s still a high monthly was a bit surprising. I’ve shifted to buying rather than leasing about 1-2 years ago.
@HN308 Mine was also discounted 20%, but it had additional incentives to the tune of like $6k Lease Cash. That’s probably the missing key, along with the higher MF and more realistic residual.
I am going through the buying process now and have finally adjusted my expectations (and budget). Would be nice to at least see interest rates come back down sometime in the foreseeable future.
Looking for a X5 or other mid size luxury SUV and based in NJ. Let me know if you have any availability
Taking 2024 X7 orders at 4% off MSRP with base MF and low doc fees.
Both X7 40i and X7 M60i at 4% off plus any applicable incentives. Order goes in the order bank and we get the allocation. Takes around 8-12 weeks for it to arrive.
Can be shipped to anywhere in the country at the customer’s expense.
Yup - I bought a 911 at MSRP earlier this year and a Bronco at below MSRP a month ago. That’ll hold me over for a while I think. Decided to move to buying cars that’ll hold their value. I can’t stomach spending $600/mo on a 3 Series when my 540 was 499/mo. I can’t stomach being at $900-1100/mo on a loaded 540 either. At that point, I would rather just buy than lease.
There are still some decent deals here and there. I’m trying to run down a deal on a EQE or EQS for my dad (If I can convince him to go electric).
Do you have any BMW 330xi or 430xi GC with M Sport?
