PHEVs have a lot of extra weight to lug around and don’t particularly shine on highway MPG. You can compare the highway MPG of the PHEVs you’re looking at versus the Accord and Elantra segments which get 40-42.
Plus you’re looking at a much lower price point for those cars, and the possibility of nice discounts on leftover models such as the 2022 Accord.
Drive it to 60-80k miles, sell it to Carmax/shop/vana, and rinse/repeat.
