I’m working with a local dealer on a 2025 Wagoneer S. I’m currently leasing a 22 GC 4xe and have 13 months left. The dealer is saying they will pay the remaining payments and ground the car early - about $6k instead of me trading it in which will put me at around 8-10k negative equity and are offering me $550/month with $3100 DAS. I can’t get the calculator to match. I know the MF is way high but they seemed uninterested in moving from the offer.
I want to be at $500 with 0 DAS. Is it possible if I push for it or should I cut my losses and just wait out the 13 months.
I would just stay with GC 4xe until end.
Any specific reason to get rid of 22 GC?
If the math is correct now you pay $460/m
Going to wagooner S it will be around $660/m efective.
The service hybrid system alert is coming up much more often now. It goes away after 10-15 seconds but every time it happens I’m worried it’s going to brick the car which ive heard has happened to people while driving. You are correct, I pay 471/month.
I’d want to stay away from Stellantis if possible but they don’t allow 3rd party buyouts and most of the bugs seemed to be worked out on these from what I’m hearing and reading.
Do you think wagooner s is a better car with no problems?
Just read the forums.
If anything happens to your GC, you can get a loaner or rental.
But this is up to you what you will do.
Stellantis allows 3rd party buyout but based on experience you are around $10k underwater.
I’ve searched the forums. It’s seems to be hit or miss on the Wagoneer S. But that’s the same with most cars these days. Toyotas, Honda, GMC, Ford all had major recalls over the last year.
The dealer I got this GC from does not give loaners so I have to uber 15 miles back home every time it’s in service. This other dealer is 5 miles from my home. I know it’s not the end of the world but it’s annoying.
I think staying with the GC is the best case unless I can get them to $0 DAS
I’ve been trying to get out of my Grand Cherokee 4xe for months now and I think I found a deal I’m willing to take. The dealer is grounding my lease 12 months early and adding that cost to this new lease, about 6k instead of doing it as a trade in which put put me closer to 10k in negative equity.
1K DAS 24/10 for 560/month.
My GC 4xe is throwing the service hybrid system multiple times a week now and it goes away within 10 seconds but I just don’t want to deal with it anymore.
Gresham CDJR in Oregon has insane lease deals on these Wagoner S EV’s. Lowest ive seen out there was from 39 bucks a month. But with 10k miles and 0 DAS you’ll probably be closer to 300 ish a month. You should give them a shot.
What’s the breakdown of the $16k in rebates? Don’t see that many adding up to that total in rate finder.
I would recommend you read up about the Wagoneer S. It throws a lot of codes and warnings. Majority of them will go away by restarting the car or worse case disconnecting and reconnecting the 12v battery.
I’ve heard the same issues but I feel like they were mostly on the 2024. Sounds like the issues on the 2025 are not as common and won’t brick the car but knock on wood, cuz it’s still Stellantis.
I’ve had my 2025 since May, and the main issues have been innocuous random error messages that come and go on their own, and can’t be reproduced.
A couple of weeks ago I made an appointment and the dealer did a software update, and I haven’t had another error since.
This will vary dramatically from dealer to dealer, but so far I’m happier with the Jeep service department than the one at the Audi dealer that serviced my previous car.
I also had an overwhelmingly positive and easy buying experience at the out-of-town Jeep dealer I leased from.
