Good day everyone. Found a great demo lease (24/10) on 2018 340 demo in my area. Car has 9239 miles, tires are ok and brakes. I dont want to discuss cost, etc as I am confident on that.
Any tips on how to deal with things such as:
Is there anything else I should be concerned on ?

Car should be in like-new condition and any existing damage should be addresses before taking delivery. Once leased, it BMW’s property, not the dealer’s, so not their decision of what is acceptable.
It will have full maintenance and warranty as a new car.
10k is a lot of miles for a demo; I assume you are aware it’s not eligible for any rebates so discount should be in the 30%+ range?
As you mentioned, at that mileage, tires and brakes could need replacing before the end of the lease, which would add $1,500-$2K to your cost, even if you put on used tires. Keep that in mind.
Besides that, not much different than a 36 month/10 lease
If it’s not $300 something a month or cheaper, I wouldn’t lease it.

That’s not entirely true. The maintenance/warranty clock started when the car was put into service as a loaner. Depending on when that date was, along with the sales date to the buyer, it’s possible the clock could run out before reaching the end of the lease. The mileage time bomb probably wouldn’t apply though.
Ive had scratches on a demo i once leased. They were scratches on the bottom of front spoiler and not really visible but i had similar concern that i might get charged at lease end so i had them mark the damage on the paperwork and had manager sign so if it came down to it, I would be covered.
Other than that, you are guaranteed to have to get tires, half the tire life has been used up at almost 10k mi. Cost you should take into consideration.

Can someone confirm what happens on the warranty ? Suppose the car was put in service as ED on 1/1/2018 and I take a 2 year lease on 5/1/2019, return on 5/1/2021
Am I responsible for repairs between Jan and May 2021 as the warranty expired Jan 2021 ??

The warranty doesn’t expire. The warranty is good for 4/50k. However, on a car with 9200 miles, if you go over 10k/yr in miles, you could potentially be out of warranty before turning in based on miles. If you’re positive you won’t go over 10k/yr, you won’t have an issue with warranty.
Maintenance would expire on 1/1/21, or whenever you hit 36k miles, whichever comes first, so you could have the possibility of an oil change needed on your dime between 1/1 and when you turn the car in in May.
And since it is not included in maintenance anymore, you’re highly likely to need to do brakes along with a brake fluid flush depending upon how hard the car was driven in it’s first 9200 miles and how hard you drive it over the course of your lease.
Our X1 loaner that we leased with 56XX miles needed front and rears over the course of year 2 of the lease and will get a brake fluid flush 1 month before it goes back.
Loaners/Demos get an extension. I believe it’s 5k Miles / 3 months but I forget the exact amount.
