Help for a 1st time poster on 2019 i3 Lease

Hi - 1st time poster, apologies in advance for any protocol breech.

I did a quick fly by on an 2019 i3 lease (36 mos), I am in the SF Bay Area.

MSRP - $47,745
Sales Price - $45,130
Lease factor .00222 (this seems way off)
Resid @57%
Monthly lease of $502.51 incl taxes.

My sense is the sales price is off - by a lot as well as the LF.

But since this is my first foray - just looking for some direction on what makes the most sense. Any help appreciated.

The base money factor is .00182 this month. They’ve marked it up the maximum they are allowed.

I assume you mean a 2018? As far as I’m aware the 2019’s are not available yet.

@packersfan both the sales price (for an outgoing model) and the money factor (if you ahve good credit) seem too high. I have seen people getting deals on I3 for some 200 dollars less per month. You could do a search. Good luck.

Search the forums. You will have a much better idea of what’s a good deal. May not always be replicable but you can try to get close.

Since you are a packers fan, we are allowed to hate you and tell you - yes great deal jump on it like Aaron Rodgers would jump on a 140 million dollar contract.

However, we are nice guys and we tell you the deal sucks. For 500 bucks, we can get you to lease a truck and a sedan … no football contract required.///

Spoken like someone from the People’s Republic of CA! LOL - I’m still laughing btw.

That $140M contract did NOT help him today.

I’m still looking. Any other thoughts appreciated…the variability is stunning that I am seeing.

Just a few pointers I learned when I leased my i3.

  1. Sales price too high. Target 10-12% off MSRP
  2. Money factor - 0.00166
  3. Aim for 30 month. This gives you the best possible outcome.
  4. I don’t see any rebate/incentives listed.
    3a. BMW loyalty, $2,000
    3b. iLease, $7,500
    3c. UDE, if you have any ( up to $1,000 )
    3d. Costco Membership, $500

There should be $10K incentives minimum to begin to lease. Adding the discount, you should be looking at $15K to $16K off.
