Help figuring out lease numbers

Hello. I’m currently trying to lease a volt and am having trouble getting the lease numbers from the dealer to match on the calculator on this page.

I’m hoping one of you experts could help me reconcile everything.

  1. Here is what I get using the leasehackr calc: https://leasehackr.com/calculator/

MSRP: $34,095
Sale Price: $30,931.00
Resid: 51%
MF: .00069
Incentives: $4,400 chevy; $2,250 chevy; $500 competitive lease chevy = $7,150
Down: $1,500
Acq: $595
Doc: $80
Gov Fee: $385 (guessing this is is registration)
Tax: 7.75%

This is what the calculator tells me:

Monthly Payment (incl. tax): $194
Drive Off: $2,836
First month’s payment incl. tax: $194
Down payment: $1,500
Registration and doc fee: $465
Tax on cap cost reduction and fees: $677

Disposition Fee: $350
Total Lease Cost: $9,597

  1. When I calculate this by hand from what is on Edmund’s site (https://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/calculate-your-own-lease-payment.html) I come out to $207.31 w/tax.

  2. Dealer is telling me it’s $232.23 w/ tax.

All the numbers use in the calc were taken from a print out the dealer gave me. I’m seeing all these posts with sub $200/mo leases on volts - is that just unrealistic? I think this site has been messing up with my calibration when I’m talking to dealers so it would help to get some clarification.

Can someone please help me figure out why all these numbers are different? Thank you!
