This is my wife’s daily driver and the family car. For the payment, it’s really nice on the tech and quality… hard to believe it’s the same price and payment as a Wrangler 4xe (which I also love, just different).
I think it’s your second bullet point which is the key driver of why one of these over a pure EV. We can go on a weeklong vacation without worrying about finding a charger.
We signed on ours for 27 months which was the best payment at the time, 2 years isn’t a crazy commitment and you can possibly even sell for equity during the lease too if prices hold up (though I wouldn’t count on that).
From what I’ve seen, at least in MA, the additional dealer discount makes up for the additional incentives the '22 doesn’t qualify for. But the end adjusted cap cost comes out to the same (~$51K). I don’t see any benefit from going after a '22 over a '23. I’d love to be wrong though.
I am in MA and agree…I am finding the same thing. I am taking a few shot at a few left over '22 Overland trims to see if the discount on those can make it worth while and a safer shot at a flip in a few months but ya '23 models are leasing as good in terms of payment from initial conversations.
