Help - 2017 BMW 320i Service Loaner Lease

Mileage is rather high. Other than that, is this a good deal?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Impossible to read on phone. Write out the relevant details.

When people are getting demo E300s in the 4s, 312 for a demo 320 isn’t worth it

Sorry about that. Here you go:

8,115 miles.
MSRP: 39,300
Net cap cost: 30,052.57
Adj. residual: 22,462.25
MF: 0.00151
Monthly payment: 312.63 (290.14 plus tax)
Down payment: 1,692

Thanks, I appreciate it. That’s definitely something worth considering.

If your really dead set on the BMW, try to find a loaner that has under 5,000 miles. Payment jumps anything over 5,000 on a demo.

I thought so too. Interestingly, this quote came in under all the other ones with less than 5,000 miles. I figured the dealer was just eager to get it off his hands. He told me he wasn’t making any money off of this sale, but who knows if that’s true.

Also at least get a 328…

Your post is so timely… I was just looking online to see what else is out there. I realized (with your help) that a lot of people are paying about the same for much nicer cars.

When people are getting brand new A6 at 400, why would anyone lease any other mid-range luxury sedan is beyond me

If my goal is to keep my monthly payment under $300, what are your thoughts on leasing a 2016 320i demo, fully configured, with hardly any miles? I mostly just care that the car has navigation, backup camera, and sensors.

It’s 300 with 1700 downpayment my friend, So you really at 345…

I’d honestly look at another car or wait till you can stretch your budget

Not a bad deal. I did a 320i Loaner a few months ago for 332 tax included with 0 drive off and 12k miles. Your deal is good considering MF for BMW went up. I would try to get the same price on one with less miles though.

Thank you. Glad I checked here first before making any hasty decisions.

It’s not a bad deal. Since it’s a loaner, you might be able to get away with zero down and the same payment. Does this include the BMW maintenance plan?

Do you have a detail of the rebates they are giving you?

Maintenance is included up to 50,000 miles.

$2,500 mfr’s rebate. $1,692 down. The dealer wouldn’t consider 0 down unfortunately.

Look at @smsx’s post. $288 a month, 1K down. I know you’re in a different market but it’s a good deal to compare to.

Doesn’t look like a terrible deal to me, especially since the MSRP is about $4K more than my car. I would try to get the first payment down to no more than $1K (with the monthly payment remaining at $312), especially since the car has 8K+ miles.

I’m not put off by the high miles because there are so few deals to be had these days. If it takes getting a high-mile car to get the deal done, I’d go for it. But it does give you a little bit of leverage.

Out of curiosity, what are the specs on the car?

Good luck!

Maintenance changed to 3/36 and no brakes so he needs to confirm when the original in service date for this car was.
