Got a GLC AMG43 after returning a glc300 one day after I leased

But why? He has a friend at the dealership.
P.S. I repeat: someone’s trolling. This can’t be real.

Haha, OP’s posts/English are bad enough to make seem more real…

Explain then how someone like him lived in the UK?:grin:

Haha! But people, especially those buying/leasing cars, never cease to amaze in what they do tho!

That’s true…

I was transferred from a multinational company I worked for to England, and then to the US.

If you want to learn, search the forum and learn.

Everything from how to negotiate, how to word emails, how to calculate payments, how to use the LH calculator, etc…. Every conceivable thing has been covered before.

After that we can have an educated discussion.

Making performative noises about “I made a mistake but I’m here to learn” is not how anyone learns anything. No ones going to hold your hand and spoonfeed you. If that’s what you’re looking for…

I messed around a little with calc to see what payment might be…marked up MF, educated guess at RV, rolled his 9K of fees taxes into dealer/govt fees, etc while trying to get near a 3K DAS.

Hey, I appreciate your input, but I think you might have misunderstood my intentions here.

I’m not looking for hand-holding or spoon-feeding. I’m actually doing my research and am always open to meaningful conversations. The post was created to gather a variety of opinions, and of course, I expected some people to just come in and bully, but I’m past that. I’m focused on the productive feedback.

So, while I appreciate you stopping by to share your thoughts, I’ll continue to focus on the helpful stuff and keep moving forward.

Thanks again for your time.

I would look at the GLE53. They are leasing well right now. I just got a GLE53 for 939 with 3000 down. 36/10

Post a calc for your deal then to show what your research has taught you. This would be evidence of learning. I posted an attempt above that took me a minute…but you have all that data/lease contract.

Frankly, you have ignored a lot too…like where in contract are you seeing your 36 month out, what 4800 fees are because you could potentially recover some, etc. It makes it seem you don’t want to learn.

I never told there I had. A 36 mo buyout!
And for the 4800, it is included the vip elite package.

Thanks

What? You literally said this “In my contract I can get off 6 months earlier from my contract”

Also, go to dealer and do whatever you can to see if you can cancel that vip elite package or tell them bad survey and review.

This is my last post on this as you seem a lost cause.

Ouch… Not as bad as a customer(my client) who paid 80k for a 57k GLC. 5 year lease with 8k down…

How did those numbers make sense to you when you signed that contract?

No contract discloses a “6 month earlier return”… (not directed to @gohawks23)

First off, I never mentioned 36 months, so let’s clear that up. I said I can get out 6 months earlier from a 48-month contract, which equals 42 months—pretty simple math.

Look, I’m not here to argue with you, but it seems like you’re arguing with yourself at this point. I’m well aware that learning takes time, and I’m not trying to absorb everything in a single day. So, maybe dial it down a notch.

Lastly, I’m the one who took the hit here, not you. So let’s keep that in mind before jumping to conclusions.

That being said, thanks for your suggestions about the dealer.

Yeah, I definitely didn’t know much about leases at the time, and I can see where I went wrong. My thinking was pretty basic: MSRP minus the residual value would give me the amount to work with, and I expected the monthly payments to be around 55-60% of that.

When I leased the first GLC at $50K, with a monthly payment of $790 (including tax but without the VIP package), I mistakenly thought that jumping to an AMG at $80K—just $30K more—wouldn’t increase the payment by more than 50%.

Obviously, I was wrong, and it’s a lesson learned.

Thanks for sharing your insight, and yeah, I can see how this happens to others too.

Second post with zero(?) mistakes and in concised English. AI or a different person. Prove me wrong
Edit: now up to 3 posts, including the one above.
Edit 2: or maybe OP forgot who he pretended to be lol
