Good Lease Deal? 2019 Honda Civic EX

I’ve been talking to multiple dealerships for a 2019 Honda Civic Sedan EX. I live in Los Angeles, CA. The best I’ve received thus far is $290/mo with $0 down/$0 out of pocket. Just pay for first months rate.

My current 2016 Civic EX lease is ending next month. I currently pay 240/mo for it. I put $0 down payment on it.

From my research:
MSRP: 24,295
Selling Price: 22,000
Money Factor: .00127
Residual: 14,835

36month/12k miles

When I put all the information in the calculator I come out to around 240ish, which is what I’ve been paying for 3 years. But all the dealerships keep telling me they can’t go lower than $290. Should I keep pushing? Or is it natural that a car would be $50/mo more 3 years later?

Unfortunately almost all the leases have gone up compared to what was possible 3 years ago. Manufacturers are raising the money factor and residuals of their leases which is making the payments higher.

When were you looking to close a deal on a Honda Civic EX? You can reach me on my cell phone if you are interested in talking numbers 310-405-3507.

Seeing as you are considering another Civic, why not just buy out your current one? It hasn’t changed that much since you got yours

I just leased a Civic Sport for $199 with $0 DAS in Anaheim (will post the details on the Deals & Tips page when I have time). If you’re willing to make the drive, I’m sure the dealer I used could get you a much better deal on an EX. PM me if you want their info.

Nearly $300 a month for a civic? :man_facepalming:

I’d like the info if you don’t mind.

Agreed. I mean, unless you REALLY need a volume knob, there really is no reason to get another of the exact same car. I’d be buying out the current car and waiting until the next generation. If you were upgrading to an Si or Touring it would be more understandable.

Hi I live in SoCal Pretty close to anaheim can I copy what you did lol
