Good Deal? - 2017 Volvo V60 Polestar

Hi,

I have been exploring the idea of a sporty wagon and have been considering the V60 Polestar. I received the following quote for a demo (@3k miles)

MSRP: $62k
Cap Cost: $50,500
Residual: 28,793.70
Money Factor: 00001
Drive-offs: $2,500
Terms: 36k mo, 10k annual miles
Payment: $598 plus tax

I know as this is a low volume model so it won’t be as competitive as a normal V70.

How does this deal look, would appreciate any feedback.

I can’t possibly think Volvos are leasing good. You can get much more luxury brands for less payments as posted recently by forum members.

If you are stuck to leasing only Volvo - sorry can’t help much - make sure GAP is provided (no cost)

They do, despite low RVs. Not all of them, though. But S60 can be had under $300/mo - less than GLI for example.

Probably hard to beat that for a Polestar. I’d say it’s a pretty good deal considering how rare of a car it is. I’m yet to see a single one on the road.

I would love to get a sporty wagon and without many options this seems like one of the best. I am going to try and squeeze them for $600 all in without increasing my drive-off but it’ll be tough.

Open to other ideas for sporty wagons too!

Hey Wilbur

I am also looking for a fast wagon. My biz partner and I would like to lease two of them. Where are you located? Maybe we can get a deal on 3…

We are in New England.

LOL You may not find 3 V60 Polestar in the whole country

My local dealer in CT has a V60 polestar on the lot for almost a full year unsold…I had the pleasure of testing it to get my $50 gift card and brand new, they were giving me a $9k discount (versus your $11k).

For others looking, I would push for more. Volvo has $6k in rebates right now between V60 bonus dealer cash and the summer sales allowance so that doesn’t seem like much of a dealer kick in for a car that isn’t really selling.

For others who are interested in these cars, here is the deal I was offered, again it was in person and I did not offer a price nor haggle. Use it as a baseline:

MSRP: [$62,595]
Selling Price: [$53,555]

Trade-in: [$0]

Months: [36]
Annual Mileage: [10,000]

MF: [0.00001]
Residual: [46%]

Drive Off: [$1,399.35]

Monthly Payment (incl. tax): [$772.24]

46% residual… Ooof.
