GMC Select Model bonus cash

I’m shopping around for GMC Acadias and I’m seeing a bunch with a “select model bonus cash” discount. Does anyone know if that incentive applies to a lease, or is it retail purchase only?

This is probably what people are referring to as Bonus Tag on this forum…it’s only on certain vehicles in stock and VIN specific. Managers choose at the start and middle of the month which vehicles it applies to.

Can be used on leases, but the lease-applicable bonus tag is less than the purchase tag.

Second. Leases can utilize bonus cash but may differ from purchasing. Check gm site. I know chevy usually states either or which means you can use all.

@cbsmith First time poster here, I just got off the phone with the GM of a dealership here in SoCal. There are several vehicles with a GMC Special Offer bonus tag applied. The website shows $3,000 off of purchase, but the lease bonus tag was only for $1,100.

I received numbers on 2017 GMC Terrain with Bonus Tags:
2017 Terrain SLE-2 (3.6L - V6, a few other small packages)
MSRP - $32,115
Sale Price - $28,500
Incentives - $3,840 ($1,240 Lease Cash, $1,500 Incremental CCR, $1,100 Bonus Tag)
24 months, 10,000 miles
MF - .00121 + .00055 = .00176
Residual - 65%
$260/month after taxes
$668 drive offs

2017 Terrain SLE-1 (2.4L 4 cylinder)
MSRP - $28,295
Sale Price - $25,350
Incentives - $3,840 ($1,240 Lease Cash, $1,500 Incremental CCR, $1,100 Bonus Tag)
24 months, 10,000 miles
MF - .00121 + .00055 = .00176
Residual - 65%
$221/month after taxes
$628 drive-offs

The dealer was having trouble and arguing about not being able to waive the $595 acquisition fee which would add $28/month to the payment. These specific vehicles also have a “Factory Reduction below MSRP” of about 4.4%. I also have a supplier code. Does anyone know if the dealer gets money back from GM on this? Is there more room for negotiation or does this look like a solid deal?
