Hi all! Just joined this forum and have already read a lot of helpful information. Appreciate all of the comments in this community already! I am working on a GLC 300 lease and would greatly appreciate any feedback/comments. Here’s the information below.
Zip Code: 90045
MSRP: $47,735
Sale Price: $42,485
RV: $26,254 (55%)
Miles: 10,000
Months: 36
MF: .00136
Pre-Tax Payment: $544.34
Post-Tax Payment: $596.05
Drive Off: $2,383.80
Drive Off detail: $1,095 (loan), $513 (dmv), $596.05 (first payment), 179.75 (doc, tire, tax etc)
My intention would be to utilize the max MSD’s but for now I’m just negotiating without any MSD consideration. I’ve also requested the detail of what is making up the reduction to MSRP as this forum has been excellent in articulating why I need to review the incentive versus dealer contribution make up of that MSRP reduction.
Thank you!

Apologies, I couldn’t post a topic as I didn’t have trust level, so I posted a reply and when I returned to my home screen I got a notice I was given a trust level to actually make a thread. I’ll ensure no duplicate posts.
this isn’t a good deal, why is the a $1095 loan? is that the acq fee?
you’re paying $645/month on a 48k car. I mean benz are a bit more challenging to lease, but that’s outrageous to be paying that much on a minimal equipped GLC.
Yeah 1,095 is the acquisition fee thanks for the clarification. I was referring to it as a loan fee.
1,095 is the ACQ. MB stores usually mark it up. I can help you out @TH3_4CCOUNT4NT. Just messaged you.
That’s a terrible deal. Even paying a broker fee you’ll come out miles ahead, is my (somewhat) educated guess.
Don’t take this offer.

Thank you for the feedback! Any general ranges I should be looking for? I’ve seen the 1% rule and that MBZ tends to be slightly above that. Also running the “how much for 10K of car” general ranges.
I also used the lease hacker score and got a 7.1. What’s a more reasonable score to expect on a good deal?
Updated Numbers:
MSRP: $48,640
Sale Price: $42,083
RV: $27,237 (56%)
Miles: 7,500
Months: 36
MF: .00136
Pre-Tax Payment: $538.53
Post-Tax Payment: $589.69
Drive Off: $1,263
Drive Off detail: $523 (dmv), $589.69 (first payment), 150 (doc, tire, tax etc)
Thoughts?
Still awful. I’d pay a broker or look at an X2 or X3
Are you able to elaborate a bit more on what specifically should be better? MF is at base, fees are at the minimum, no cap reduction (AQ is in cap cost). Reduction from MSRP seems competitive. I’m not a MBZ guy by any means I think these cars are overpriced lol. But happy wife they say right
They just don’t lease well. Look into MSD to shave some off your payment
agreed - I was trying to get to a good place on all other details. then go MSD at the end. I was keeping it apples to apples on the deals for comparative purposes. but yeah I’m with you never liked an MBZ lease. I’ll stick with my escalade all day
