How can I appropriately ask a dealer to use a certain bank when providing a quote?
I’m reading that Ally bank has generous residuals but not all dealers work with Ally.
You ask them if they work with that bank and to quote you with it, and if they won’t, you go to a different dealer and ask them.

They could also have an MF to match. I’d be surprised if more than a handful of cars actually make sense with them.
Like Max said, make sure Ally is signficantly less than other banks on the vehicle you are interested in. If you provide what Make/Model/Trim you are interested in maybe someone can chime in with the answer on that.
