Here in CA they are offering .00066 MF and a 10,250 Genesis rebate on that specific car as it is the one I’m looking at too. Little disappointed in how low residuals are though. I’m being quoted 46% for 15k miles per year on 36 mos.
Being driving Genesis since they first came out in 2008 and been very happy. On my 3rd lease which ends this month. Love the quiet and the ride in the G90, reminds me of the DTS’s I used to drive before the Genny’s.
I have a Genesis and like it. I had an 09 and a 15. They keep getting better but the dealership experience isn’t too good. Also, the car isn’t as solid as my Cadillac. When something goes wrong Cadillac jumps through hoops to fix it, Hyundai says whatever.
They should be offering you the $9250 lease cash plus 1500 loyalty, that is the least you are entitled to.
so on a 3.3t G90 one pay lease on a 12/36 24261.43 at 45%RV on a 69K car MF .0000010 including 3%tx.

That’s way too much money for a Genesis. That comes out to about $750/mo for a Genesis. That is way too close to real Full size luxury cars that I wouldn’t even consider it for more than $500/mo.
For example, you can lease pretty loaded 740 x drive demos ($94k MSRP) for $699/mo + $5k down + taxes and fees - negotiation.
$24,261/36=$674 not about $750 and he said that includes tax. Plus no $5k down.
The Genesis is an incredible car full stop.
Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor Company will recall more than 1.3 million vehicles in the U.S., including three crossover and SUV models, in order to fix an engine defect that could cause the vehicles to stall.
The affected models include the 2011-13 Kia Sportage, 2012-14 Kia Sorento and 2013-14 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The 2011-14 Kia Optima and 2013-14 Hyundai Sonata sedans are also affected.
The automakers reported the recalls to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on March 31.
“Hyundai is initiating this action to ensure the safety and quality of its vehicles and the continued satisfaction of its customers,” said Miles Johnson, spokesman at Hyundai.
The recall affects nearly 166,000 Kia Sorento models with the 2.4-liter engine, and more than 8,000 Kia Sportage vehicles with the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is equipped with both engines. It was not immediately clear how many Santa Fe Sports are affected.
Errors made during engine production may cause premature bearing wear, which could lead to a vehicle stall and increase the risk of a crash, according to documents filed to NHTSA.
Johnson said that both engines were made at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama plant in Montgomery, Ala.
Your post has nothing to do with this thread. There is not a single automaker that has not had a recall. Please stay on topic.
Exactly. The topic is that for anything over 400 the G90 is not worth it
I think the g90 is actually worth a good 650 with zero otd
Don’t be in the same boat as people who paid twice as much to lease a car based on hype eg 500 to 600 for i3, waiting list with full sticker price for volt and bolt, 500 for Q50 etc etc etc
But is 70k and 650 would qualify for the rule of thumb.
Definitely. 650 is good for a 70k car. My whole premise is the car doesn’t deserve a 70k msrp. More like 50k.
But as the famous leasehackr poet @Alex said, the heart gets what the hearts wants. So if this is something you feel good about, based on 1% rule, go for it!!!
Sounds like you’ve forgotten what stickers for what these days. 50k is 3 series money. 70k is 5 series money.
Apples to apples, the G90 is priced much less than the competition and is inline with it’s value. The G80 competes with the luxury mid size class (5-series, E-class, GS) but undercuts the competition by $10k. Even though it has same features as a 535, you would say “I’m not paying $65k for a Genesis G80”, which is why its priced at $54k.
Now as for leasing, yes you maybe able to get a 7-series for $700/mo with $5k down as MSD, but just because the 7-series is priced $20k more than the G90, does it make it worth $20k extra? That’s the whole value proposition.
Back in 2008 when I leased my G37 coupe 6MT, a comparable equipped 335 coupe 6MT was nearly $200 more per month. Almost same options, but MSRP on the BMW was about $3k higher, but to me wasn’t worth extra $200/mo payment.
I don’t think the 7 series is only $20k more. It’s so easy to check a few boxes and take a 6 cylinder 2WD 740 above $100k, let alone a V8 model. The other competitor the S-class basically starts at 100.
The G90 tops out at 73 or 74k for a fully loaded V8 AWD model.
In terms of lease payments the one mentioned earlier was a demo so hardly apples to apples. Even then getting to $700/m needed $5,000 presumably as a cap cost reduction. And then you still need to pay acq and TTL.
I freakin love this guy lol. GO AHEAD BROTHER FIGHT FOR GENESIS!!!
I don’t know what to say here…
