Had been lurking on Leasehackr for a few weeks while trying to negotiate a good deal at a few local dealers. Was getting frustrated that I wouldn’t be able to get the exact car at the price point I wanted. Didn’t know anything about brokers, but after reading about positive experiences on here, I sent a message to Harry at GCAuto and asked about a 2025.5 Volvo XC90 T8 Ultra white/ blonde, six seater.
Literally within minutes he presented an offer on the exact car I wanted, at a price that was far better (by a lot) than anything I’d been presented with at the dealers.
Seemed almost too good to be true, but given GC’s reputation on here I accepted the offer and agreed to move forward. Communication with Harry from GC was excellent, he answered all my questions and told me exactly what to expect from the dealer. Within minutes, I was contacted by the dealer and arranged to pick up the car and sign the paperwork.

That’s not how brokered deals work. He paid for a service and if you want the same deal, you can find your own broker and pay for their service or find your own car

Sam helped me with my Ioniq 6. 2k due at signing and $205/month. He couldn’t get me the blue color but we compromised on the red which was supposed to cost more for the upgraded paint color. Went to pick up and was only at the dealership for 1.5 hours vs the typical 6-hour dealership experience. 10/10 will never go into a dealership alone again.

I was drawn in due to great pricing and available locally. However, after texting, messaging on leasehackr, replying on their thread, AND inquiring on their google form, literally ZERO RESPONSE. Absolutely terrible. I wish I had the same service and response time as other customers, because I know it would have been such a smooth and fast transaction. Oh well, they missed out on a customer, and I’m sure they don’t care.
You contacted us August of 2024 and we provided you with a quote based on the advertised pricing. You were unhappy that pricing in California was not the same pricing that you saw in other regions.
You contacted us again at the end of May. As any month comes to an end, we prioritize pending deals, deals that have closed and last minute transactions.

Leased a ZDX A-Spec from Sam. Super fast, reliable, and a great deal. Finalized the numbers over text within 30 minutes of when I reached out to him. Numbers were the same at the dealer. Texted him on Thursday afternoon, and drove off around Friday noon.
This is my 3rd time using a broker on LH. I just don’t have time to hack anymore. Sam’s a pro. Very few texts back and forth before the deal was finalized. The salesperson and the dealership was also very professional.
Previous lease was a 2023 Ioniq 5 AWD. All the deals on the Ioniq 5 seem to be RWD, and I personally don’t feel that I can live with 225hp. Sorry. ZDX hugs the road a little better, especially on curvy bumps. Plenty of power. Charging is a bit slower, and the battery is huge, so I do spend a little more time at fast chargers. There are a lot of things that I really liked about the Ioniq 5 AWD, but there are also a lot of things that I like about the ZDX. Plus I like trying out new cars every couple of years.
