Maybe a casino chip shortage in the pocket of the sale advisor.

Hello,
I am looking for a full-size SUV, Was looking for Nissan Armada but based on the feedback from some of you now I am exploring Jeep Wagoneer. This is the price I am getting from one local dealer. I am buying and not leasing let me know what do you all think?
2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series II 4X4
MSRP:$74,445
ePrice: $66,398
Unless it is in full writting, the dealer will stack on crap
Shop around with multiple dealers and and look at dealers beyond your local dealer
will do - Thanks
You asked about a Telluride earlier. Why wouldn’t you order a fully loaded Telluride for $50k instead of a mid trim Wagoneer for 66+
And what do you think the depreciation on the Wagoneer is going to be like? It’s the only vehicle in a really heated sellers market that needs huge OEM incentives … what does that tell you about its supply vs demand?
I’ve been trying to order a fully loaded Kia for $50k for a friend. Have not found anyone willing to do it.
Plus, Wagoneer is bigger. 30 more cu ft. That could be important to some shoppers who are looking for full-size.
The 11% discount off MSRP looks good. A couple weeks ago, Clutch posted a deal for a more expensive Wagoneer ($79k MSRP) that was also 11% off. https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/clutch-june-jeep-bmw-gmc-cad-up-to-9-75-wrangler-wagoneer-blowout-x3-9-off-escalade-diesel-yukon-instock/413099/223?u=pxwang
I’m also shopping for a 3-row SUV. Wagoneer seemed way too big and cumbersome to me. And fuel economy was the biggest downside; it is terrifying.
I’m not local to you but a wagoneer is the way to go. I love mine. Series 2 $84k sticker. It’s like a mini school bus with a Hemi.
I wouldn’t have mentioned it if the OP hasn’t expressed interest.
Actually almost all the unibodies like Palisade, Pathfinder, etc top out at $50k fully loaded so for someone interested in a Telluride I’d investigate all those options first.
This is looking like the thread that started with a Escalade and the person ended up getting a Durango.
That’s some serious off roading on the sand there.
I’ll go against the grain here, but I would take an Armada (particularly a Platinum) over a Telluride any day of the week. I would also argue that they’re not really competitors, for that matter.
I recently relocated from Dubai, and Nissan Armada - Patrol is in very high demand - I use to have the 2010 model which I kept for over 10 years with zero issues.
This is a very different market though. When it comes to trucks in America (people also call their truck-based SUVs “trucks” here), loyalty is king. Next comes tow ratings, either for real or for bragging rights. Nissan found this out the hard way with the Titan:
Armada and even the legendary Land Cruiser sell in pitiful numbers here; almost nobody wants them. You can go against the grain and pay through the nose for the depreciation on the Armada, or just accept the reality that this is a very different market from the UAE.
Yes, the Armada is a rebranded Patrol which is very popular in the Middle East and Australia. They are pretty durable and tend to hold their value. It’s a boat to drive around parking lots but for $55K brand new last summer with the upgraded displays (1 year ahead of the QX80) it couldn’t be beat. Noting that Tahoes/Yukons were literally not available last summer.
We swapped out a 2018 SL - zero issues over 42 months last summer for a 2021 SL Midnight Edition which ended up costing about $150 a month over 42 months.
Disclaimer: The same 2022 SL would be about 10K higher this summer. We ended up timing the Armada swap perfectly end of July last year. Well except for the $5 Biden-gas.
Ayy, I live on Saadiyat in AD 9 months of the year.
Ik how popular patrols and Safari patrols are in the UAE but the USA is a different market and you’ll take a big hit on resale.
Great, I was in Al Raha Gardens area - Thanks for the advice still searching !!
They’re not. But someone who’s expressed interest in any of the unibody SUVs should really focus on that segment. Since those top out at around $50k fully loaded, why spend around $30k more for a loaded truck?
Yup, screwing we the people.
