Planning a bachelor party in Fort Lauderdale this June (Thursday–Sunday) with a group of about 10 guys. Looking for some good spots to go out that have a fun, high-energy vibe—bars, clubs, day drinking spots, whatever as long as it’s a good time and not a pain to get into. Also trying to lock in one really good dinner spot for one of the nights—somewhere that’s actually worth it and works well for a group. We’ll probably be doing beach/boat stuff during the day and going out at night. I’ve heard Las Olas and the Wharf area are solid but wanted to get some real opinions—any must-hit spots or places to avoid?
Where are you staying? All the hotels on beach boulevard are generally a scene. El Vez at the W hotel has legit margaritas. Coconuts is great for fish, crab etc if you’re coming off of a day of boating. Nightlife bar type stuff is best on Las Olas but I can’t vouch for any particular place as that is not my scene. Sparrow on the roof of the Del Mar is cool though and good drinks.
My only other recs would be Riverside Market for chill day drinking, very fun spot with a great beer selection and self serve style. Or, Funky Buddha is a good local brewery.
spend all 4 days at elbo room imho
Thanks man! Yeah this group will most likely wanna party. Staying in an Air Bnb a mile north of Las Olas
Fwiw you are 30 minutes away from Miami and the Brightline is really easy and not expensive.
Las Olas at night you’ll find plenty of places for food a drinks. For fine dining try Casa D’Angelo, Ocean Prime, Del Mar (in Auberge), Daniels Steakhouse, Nube Rooftop (in Hilton) or Theos.
Tip from my best friend’s brother’s bachelor party: people would appreciate it if the stripper doesn’t smell like old tires.
Help map out the selections. What’s the age range? You looking for high energy clubs like LIV or titty bars or fine upscale dining? You want to go to a rave? Dance all night? What kind of food? Trendy instagram shit or real quality type stuff? Any particular activities you want to check off? Stay solely in Ft. Lauderdale or go to the surrounding areas?
Trouble with the Brightline is that it cuts off service at midnight, so if you’re looking to go wild, it has limited utility.
If you’re really hungry, consider going to Chima. The food is actually really good, and the pineapple is amazing. Disclosure: I don’t eat meat, but my parents and and and uncle have been there many times and say the meat is good.

Bunch of degenerate 30 somethings who still think we can hang. Mix of solid food spots with one place we have no business being at. Half the crew are NYC civil servants so we’re already writing off 2 people before midnight- one fake emergency, one just gone. No text, no trace, no explanation ever
Chima is great-went to the one in Charolette.anything served on a sword tastes better
Some spots were already mentioned, yet I’ll throw ideas at you as I’m fairly local. Cool places with a mixture of things to eat and music would be Shorely and The Wharf. The no-business place would possibly be Rock Bar. D’s sports bar (part of Daniel’s) is great also. Earls Kitchen has good food and a rooftop terrace. Rocco’s Tacos and Louie Bossie are ok.
I guess this was a reply to me so I’ll follow up:
-'“one place we have no business being at” - this a titty bar?
-Any other nightlife requests? Activity requests?
-You plan on leaving Ft.Laud much or staying around there? Renting a car (HIGHLY recommended if traveling. Uber/Lyft here is very expensive and not that reliable. Public transport is non-existent.)
Load up on smokes!
Fort Lauderdale Cigar Shop - Neptune Cigar SuperStore 2325 S Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
Dinner place, Daniels Steak house. Would have suggested Abe & Louise but thats Boca and far.
Meat on the sword, Fogo de Chao in downtown FLL is a newer location opened a few years back and really good.
Eddie Vs is also pretty good.
Your 15 min drive from the Guitar hotel. Day time clubs and night time, all I have heard are pretty good and newer (specially if 30s)
Otherwise Las Olas has plenty of night time stuff doubt you will need to go any more.
You don’t think Chima is better? Plus, you can go to Fogo in almost any city vs. Chima only being a few locations. I would go just for the pineapple!
There’s a new one in Pompano that opened up. Adega Gaucha and they also have the grilled pineapples lol. Defintely try it when ur in town next time. Nothing against Chima but the new Fogo location I mentioned is modelled very high end to compete with the so many newer steak houses in FLL downtown. Beside the classic Chima look but American steak house, Daniels is no.1
My personal all time favorite no. 1 is Abe & Louies in Boca. Second favorite is Council Oaks inside the Guitar hotel!
Yeah, it makes sense. I don’t eat meat, but I eat seafood, so I also like that Chima has the salad bar!
