Ford Option Mach E - anyone know if Pull Ahead will work?

I have a MachE with the 36 month Ford Option. At 36 m I can either give it back or pay the balloon payment. It is obviously underwater so I am planning to just give it back.
I wonder if anyone had any luck with Pull ahead on a Ford Option. I spoke with the dealer and he was clueless…

Did you call Ford Financial or whatever that is called? Dealers are always clueless about this type of stuff.

I haven’t but the reps on the line usually always say ask the dealer.
