Ford Focus Electric 2017 149/mo

I’m trying to back into the details of this one from this ad at the main Ford website:

And here is the fine print:

Which I plugged into our trusty calculator, to get this:

I’m just not sure if I’m using the calculator incorrectly and/or how Ford is getting to the number on their advertisement, considering the only CCR mentioned is the $11,750 lease cash

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The dealer is providing a further discount off msrp, assuming you have the other terms correct.

let me guess, this is only in california!!

I don’t know if it’s only in CA, but that is where I am

Probably right. This is the only local offer in St. Louis:

Here’s what it looks like for the DMV area (http://www.ford.com/cars/focus/2017/pricing-and-incentives/?intcmp=hp-none-io):

Disclaimer:

Security deposit waived. Taxes, title, and license fees extra. With Equipment Group 200A. Not all buyers will qualify for Ford Credit Red Carpet Lease. Payments may vary; dealer determines price. Residency restrictions apply. Cash due at signing is after $3,250 Customer Cash (PGM #50400). Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 7/5/17. See dealer for qualifications and complete details. Vehicle shown may have optional equipment not included in payment.

Haven’t done the math but the cash due at signing is different on each of those. The CA deal is less money a month because there is more cash due up front.

But more importantly the Cali one is the electric version whereas the other two are not.

Ah, good catch! I don’t know the Focus electric that well- is it only of the CARB states only cars so they can’t even get them in some states?

Update, local dealer says the fine print says this is only for equipment group 300A, and the 2017 model only comes in 500A

Wait, so this dealer is saying that Ford created a June special for a car that doesn’t exist?

Update 2

Contacted Ford Credit–they basically hid behind the dealer. (see below)

My guess is that demand is hot for this car right now (I can’t find them anywhere on Southern California lots) and they’re unwilling to part with the whole incentive from Ford
